Curiosity Club is a learning network hosted by Kaleidoscope Health and Care – a social enterprise working to bring people together to improve health and care.
Curiosity Club’s mission is to provide a space where curiosity is encouraged, used productively and has its impact analysed.
We aim to bring together a diverse collection of people, at the individual and organisational level, to explore ideas and provide opportunity to improve. It aims to equip you and your organisation with the practical tools to bring curiosity into your place of work, making them more interesting, innovative and productive places to be.
There is a growing body of research and evidence showing the benefits of curiosity for individuals and organisations.
We think that traditional hierarchies can leave you feeling the opposite of curious – uninterested, disengaged and unmotivated. By providing protected time to focus on curiosity and topics that inspire you, we hope you will be able take this back into your working lives.
What you get
At Kaleidoscope we value evidence, data and being practical. Curiosity Club isn’t a vague space to bring people together for a chat – we have a clear purpose and want those who participate to feel a tangible benefit.
The 12 month programme combines taught content with action learning, real-world application and peer support to ensure individuals and organisations have all they need to put curiosity behaviours into practice.
The programme is organised around four highly interactive face-to-face events in curious venues across the UK, backed up by a range of digital events and means to learn together.
Curiosity Club will allow you to try something a little bit different, provide a space where you can learn as well as teach, and enable you to meet and work with a diverse group of people.
Who should join Curiosity Club?
Would you define yourself as a curious person? If yes, Curiosity Club is the place for you. If no, Curiosity Club is definitely the place for you. You may be working in one of these roles:
But above all, Curiosity Club is for everyone. There's the option to join as an organisation, or as an individual.
How to apply
If you’re interested in joining the Curiosity Club, or have any questions email Kaleidoscope.
If you want to help define what the club becomes and steer its direction of travel by joining the working group, contact Kate Cheema for more details.
We're looking to collaboratively fund Curiosity Club in three ways:
For every person who joins after we've hit the 35 magic number, the price for everyone comes down by 1%. So if 45 people join, that's 10% off for everyone; if 60 people join, that's 25% off for everyone...
